Goodday ensures a healthy start to the school year!

Asahi Beverages Philippines (ABP) and Universal Robina Corporation (URC) have come together in an exemplary display of collaboration and commitment to donate 400,000 bottles of Goodday Cultured Milk to Philippine schools nationwide.

Undertaken in support of the Department of Education’s (DepEd) “Brigada Eskwela 2023” campaign, ABP and URC aim to ensure a healthy start to the school year for students. The launch was witnessed and supported by the Secretary of DepEd and Vice President of the Philippines, Sara Duterte.

“Brigada Eskwela” is an annual nationwide endeavour that rallies communities, volunteers and organisations to dedicate their time, resources and expertise towards readying public schools for the new academic year.

As a proactive initiative, ABP and URC had previously donated more than 130,000 servings of Goodday Cultured Milk to 150 schools earlier in the year to provide students with healthier beverage options. This will bring the total committed donation of Goodday to 530,000 bottles by the end of 2023.

The partnership with DepEd embodies Goodday’s commitment to positively influence the lives of students, advocate for better nutrition, and nurture wholesome habits from a young age. As students return to school, they do so with the assurance they will be YumImmunity-Ready!
