Safeguarding the gifts of nature

Learn more about how we plan to conserve Mother Earth

In our bid to protect the environment, AHSEA takes on a two-fold approach called ‘neutral and plus’. We aim to neutralise our environmental impact and bring it to zero.

The plus comes into play as we create new sustainable value through R&D and use of technology, helping us to reduce resource consumption and develop recyclable, biodegradable packaging.

Our Areas Of Focus

Climate Change

Reduction of CO2 emissions through the use of renewable energy sources such as solar panels and other energy-saving equipment in our plants, along with deployment of green logistics across processes.

Raw Material Procurement

Become 100% Paper Board FSC certified and ethically source our sugar and palm oil supply by procuring them from sustainability certified suppliers.

Reduction of single-use plastic by using more sustainable packaging such as rPET, downgauging and increasing recycled content. Switching over from coloured bottles to clear ones also enables easier recycling.

Water Usage

Lower our water unit consumption through methods such as rain harvesting, water recovery and leakage elimination in our plants.

Increase our recycling rate through proper waste segregation by partnering with suppliers who recycle surplus materials. Also, our staff are all educated on the 3 important Rs: reuse, reduce, recycle.
