Waste Segregation Plan
- To categorise waste and identify alternative disposal approaches instead of going to landfill
- Currently, metal, plastic and paper wastes are segregated and collected for recycling
Repurposing of Waste Water Treatment Plant Sludge
- After being properly treated and assessed for safety from hazardous characteristics, sludges from waste water treatment plants are repurposed to useful products such as fertiliser for local farming use or paving blocks
